GBSI-EU Features are the derived inputs underpinning signals and events.

What GBSI-EU Features include​

They provide structured representations of:

  • Supply and demand components
  • Storage behaviour
  • Cross-border flows and infrastructure utilisation

Features are designed for direct use in research workflows and custom analysis.

Gas generation capacity (gas_gen_capacity_gw) follows an as-of rule: a row in year Y uses the newest ENTSO-E A68 installed-capacity year not later than Y. A68 data starts in 2022, so member-country rows dated 2016-2021 have NULL capacity and NULL gas_gen_capacity_factor. ENTSO-E gas generation volumes were corrected in October 2026 (previously about four times too high).
