The Power Event Market Intelligence (PEMI) surfaces events and features related to power plant and transmission outages across European bidding zones. It is a grid-stress data feed with no price claim.

Reading elevated activity​

Elevated PEMI activity indicates increased frequency or significance of physical events affecting energy systems, such as outages, constraints, or logistical disruptions. In such periods, physical considerations may play a larger role in market behaviour.

This does not imply uniform market impact. The significance of events depends on location, duration, and prevailing system conditions.

Reading low activity​

Lower activity indicates more stable physical conditions, where infrastructure and logistics are operating within normal ranges and exert less influence on short-term dynamics.

Changes through time​

Changes in PEMI activity can signal shifts in operational reliability or emerging stress points, particularly when clusters of events occur in related assets or regions.
